"Scored the merch I wanted"
I used Comic-Con to grab some exclusive merch before it sold out, it was easy. Glad I managed to get what I wanted

"The guest list really stood out to me this year"
I was mainly checking comic-con.org to see who was on the guest list, and from what I remember compared to past years, this one felt especially strong. There were a bunch of names I actually wanted to see, plus a few creators I wasn’t expecting at all. The site was easy to get around too, so I didn’t have to dig much. it made me way more excited about going this year

"I used comic-con mainly to look up the…"
I used comic-con mainly to look up the event dates, badge info, and a few schedule-related details, and overall it did what I needed it to do. I was able to find the important stuff without too much trouble, which is really the main thing for a site like this. Some pages were straightforward, especially once I knew where to look, but a few sections felt a little crowded with information and links, so I ended up clicking around more than I expected. It wasn’t confusing enough to be a big problem, just one of those things where you think, “Okay, I know the info is here somewhere,” and then you have to dig a bit. I also tried it on my phone, and it worked fine there too, which was nice because I usually check this kind of thing on the go. Not perfect, but definitely a solid and useful site.

"Good photo ops, with a little waiting around"
I used Comic-Con before the show to look up the autograph and photo op details, and for the most part it was straightforward. I liked having the times, rules, and basic info in one spot instead of trying to piece it together from random posts.

At the event, the photo op line moved decently, though I was a little unsure where I was supposed to go at first. I can’t really say if that was the case for everyone, since I only went through my own session, but once we asked staff, they pointed us in the right direction.

The autograph part was smoother for me overall. It wasn’t perfect, and there was still some waiting, but nothing that felt too frustrating. Based on my experience, I’d use the site again for planning

"I remember feeling a little anxious waiting…"
I remember feeling a little anxious waiting for my badge to arrive, but it showed up quickly and everything went smoothly. No issues at all, which was a relief.

"Good overall, but not as organized as some other events"
I had a good experience overall. The site had the basic info I needed, and some of the schedules were easy enough to find. That said, a few updates seemed to come in kind of late, which made planning a little harder. Compared to some other events I’ve been to, the organization wasn’t quite as smooth. At the event itself, the lines and room changes got confusing at times, and while most of the staff were friendly, they didn’t always seem to know what was happening either. Not a bad experience by any means, but there’s definitely room to make things run more clearly.

"Helpful for planning, especially for cosplay"
I mainly used comic-con before going to check the cosplay rules and look over the schedule. It was easy to find what kinds of props were allowed, which made me feel a lot less stressed before the event. The cosplay area ended up being really fun too, and everyone I ran into was super nice. I also liked that they had photo spots and meetups listed, even though a few times seemed to change at the last minute. My only small complaint is that the site can feel a little crowded when you’re using it on your phone. Still, it was useful overall, and I’d probably use it again next year if you’re planning ahead...

"Works Most of the Time, But the Crashes Are Frustrating"
The app usually does what I need it to do and loads the schedules without any trouble. That said, it does crash every now and then, which can be annoying when I’m trying to check something quickly. I still use it because it’s helpful, but I really hope the crashes get fixed soon because it’s frustrating when something you rely on lets you down

"Late Updates Threw Everything Off"
I don’t think I was being unreasonable here—I just needed the updates when they were supposed to come through so I could plan around them. They ended up arriving late, and by that point it had already messed up my schedule. Frustrating, honestly

"Parking was surprisingly not a hassle"
I was expecting parking to be a whole ordeal, but it was actually easy. The signs were clear enough, and the shuttles helped a lot. Pleasantly surprised, even if I’m still annoyed I had to worry about it in the first place.

"I was surprised by how many panels..."
I was surprised by how many panels were listed. There was a little bit of everything, from movie and comic talks to random behind-the-scenes sessions I didn’t even know I wanted to check out. If you’re going, definitely give yourself time to browse the schedule because I kept finding new stuff to add. It made planning the day really fun.

"Accessibility support wasn’t great"
I was disappointed with the accessibility help onsite. It felt like there wasn’t much support available when I actually needed it, and getting answers beforehand wasn’t any better. The emails I received felt like they were written by robots, just generic replies that didn’t really address my questions. Overall, it made the experience more stressful than it should’ve been.

"I went to a Comic-Con event and, the..."
I went to a Comic-Con event and, the bathrooms were way better than I expected. The lines definitely got long during the busy parts, but the staff seemed to be keeping up well with cleaning and restocking toilet paper and stuff. I mean, it wasn’t perfect—some stalls did get a bit messy later on, but for such a huge crowd, it was actually good.

"Helpful updates when I was in a hurry"
I was kind of rushing through everything, so I really appreciated the emails keeping me in the loop. They made it easy to stay updated without having to stop and check on things myself

"Everyone seemed genuinely excited to be…"
Everyone seemed genuinely excited to be there, and there was so much cool cosplay everywhere. It was easy to strike up random chats while waiting in line, which made it feel like one big happy nerd crowd. The only thing was that with so many people packed in, I did feel kind of trapped at times, like there wasn’t much room to breathe or step away

"Cool displays, but way too chaotic"
I mainly went for the exhibit hall, i left frustrated. It was so crowded that it was hard to even move around, and some of the booths had long lines with no clear signs or information about what you were waiting for. There were definitely a few cool displays, but it felt like I spent more time standing around than actually seeing anything. The staff seemed like they were trying their best, but the whole thing still felt unorganized. If it’s like this again next time, I’m probably just going to skip it.

"I’m not trying to be overly…"
I’m not trying to be overly negative, but crowd control was the biggest problem for me. The lines got confusing really quickly, and half the time it wasn’t obvious where we were supposed to go or who we should ask for help. To be fair, some of the staff did seem like they were trying, but the busy areas just felt unorganized. I did have a few fun moments, so it wasn’t a total wash, but getting around was stressful for most of the day

"Helpful Staff Made the Visit Easier"
I had a little trouble figuring out where I was supposed to go at first, but the staff were really friendly and pointed me in the right direction quickly. It made the whole visit feel way less stressful. If you’re going for the first time, don’t hesitate to ask someone for help, they were super nice about it

"Fun event, but I got so turned around"
The event itself was actually a lot of fun, but wow, the venue layout really threw me off. The signs weren’t very clear, and I kept ending up in the wrong spots and walking in circles. Maybe I’m just terrible at finding my way around, but after a while it got tiring

"Worth it, even with the fees"
The prices are a little on the high side, but for everything you get, it doesn’t feel unreasonable. There was plenty to see and do, and the website had the info I was looking for, which helped a lot. I do wish the fees were shown more clearly upfront though, because I was kind of adding things up in my head and then, you know, suddenly it’s a bit more than expected. Still, I had a good time overall and would say it was worth it.
